A 25ft putt on the first sudden-death play-off sealed victory for Anders Hansen in the 2007 BMW PGA Championship against Justin Rose last Sunday. Both players had ended 36 holes on 8 under par with Rose playing an outstanding pitching wedge on the 18th to secure the birdie and a play-off place.

The win takes Hansen from 262nd in The European Order of Merit to ninth position, an amazing jump and very much deserved considering the strength of the field, which included Vijay Singh who finished with a fantastic 66 to share 3rd place.
