The countdown to The Open 2008 has well and truly begun and we’ve been talking to golfers around the country to find out what sort of coverage you want from us this year.
With the results in it’s clear that you want a slightly more useful take on the traidional reporting on The Open and so our team has been busy putting together a package of build up content for you.
Things kick on July 7th when we’ll launch our Open 2008 preview, strating with our interactive guide to The Open 2008 golf course Birkdale. We spent time with current Open champion Padraig Harrington reviewing each hole at the golf course and he gives his view on how to play each one!
We’ll then be adding content throughout the week including guides on Birkdale itself if you plan to come and watch the event, a sneak peak into the golf bags of some of the players to see what they’re going to be using and even a quality Links Golf tuition and venue guide.
The coverage will run right up to The Open itself, when we’ll be there to bring you the behind-the-scenes news on the greatest golf tournament on earth! Don’t miss it…
