The new FedEx Cup bonuses have been paid out – and it’s once again good news for Scottie Scheffler.
The system was revamped earlier this year when the PGA Tour announced that the pot – which previously saw the FedEx Cup champion scoop the $25 million – would be split into three, the first of which would be distributed after the culmination of the regular season.
What didn’t change, however, was the Comcast Business Top 10, which offers $40 million split among the top 10 in the FedEx Cup standings following the Wyndham Championship.
This means 10 players – eight of whom didn’t even tee up at Sedgefield Country Club – woke up the following morning with a few more million thrown on the pile…
FedEx Cup bonus payouts: Round 1
This first round of bonuses, paid out to the top 10 in the FedEx Cup standings, was made after the end of the regular PGA Tour season at the Wyndham Championship.
