If you want to score nicely here you simply have to drive it well because the narrow fairways are lined with thick gorse. Mainly heathland in character, its close proximity to the tidal Alde estuary means there is a hint of links about it – at least in the sea air. The faces on the bunkers are clad in sleepers which add to the charm.
