The last of the great Norfolk courses, Sheringham might be the lowest-ranked of the group but its clifftop offering is not to be under estimated. The views are predictably outstanding and its par of 70 is rarely seriously beaten. It was here that Miss Joyce Wethered – one of our finest amateurs – won her first championship at the age of 18.
