Built in 1970 in a huge estate at Packington Park between Birmingham and Coventry, Donald Steel sympathetically incorporated mature trees and natural water features to a layout which hosted the European Tour several times. The pace steps up on the back nine with the trees and water combining to create holes of aesthetic quality.
