Not for the faint hearted, Woodhall Spa is a seriously robust heathland course which can test the very best players. Perhaps lacks the charm of Sunningdale Old or indeed West Sussex, but makes up for that with a relentlessly good design and an absence of weak holes. The Bracken is an outstanding second course too.
