Short by modern standards but tight fairways lined by heather, pine trees and gorse ensure anyone wayward with the driver will quickly rack up plenty of bogeys… and worse. Arthur Croome is hardly the most famous name in design, but he can be very proud of a course which remains much as he left it in 1922.
