CLUB COMMENT: No significant changes
This is where Ian Woosnam learnt the game and it is a classic out-and-back links which is wedged between the Cambrian mountains and the sea. Opened for play in 1892, it has been worked on by no less a trio than Braid, Colt and Fowler. There is a good mix of short holes while the par-4 16th, which skirts the railway line, is a fabulous hole. It is overshadowed by Royal St David’s, but if the travelling golfer is on a budget, he will not be disappointed here.
