The absence of the Scottish Open and financial issues have resulted in Loch Lomond losing a little of its lustre, but that is of course relative – it has a lot to lose. Not everyone’s idea of golfing heaven but if you ever hear someone claim they turned down a round here you know they are telling a white lie (or are insane).
