Like neighbouring Carnoustie, Panmure comprises Scots pines, dunes, and thick rough. The short-5th, ‘Punchbowl’, which boasts an entertaining green complex, and the 6th, ‘Hogan’, a dog-leg to a small, elevated green surrounded by gorse and a bunker are two of the early highlights at this wonderful course.
