It’s unspectactular, but if you can’t enjoy the simple pleasures of good turf, cute green complexes and a wide variety of holes, you shouldn’t be playing in St Andrews. Just one par 5 awaits, but Harry Colt’s Eden feels like an interesting affair throughout.
