The fourth oldest club in the world, Bruntsfield Links Golf Society moved to its current home in Bartongate in 1898. Willie Park was given a lovely piece of inland countryside on which to lay out the course and although Scotland’s capital has since surrounded it from all angles, a day here remains delightfully tranquil.
