Ambitious talk of it being Scotland’s Augusta might put some people’s backs up but we recognise it is a fine inland course with tree-lined fairways and scenic water hazards, such as on the short 8th and par-4 10th. Opened in 1987 to great fanfare as golf began its boom period, Letham is now run by its members.
