Brunston has matured splendidly in the last decade, settling down impressively in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the sheltered valley of the Water of Girvan. Donald Steel cleverly used the natural contours and mature trees and added several ponds to produce some spectacular holes. An excellent complement to Ayrshire’s seaside masterpieces.
