You can take a two-, three- or four-round deal and then choose which of the following courses to play.

ARCANGUES
OPENED: 1991
DESIGNER: RONALD FREAM
COURSE: 7,756 YARDS, PAR 72
At the edge of Biarritz, Arcangues provides beautiful views with nine holes on the south side in front of the Pyrenees and others on the north side around the Arcangues Castle. There is a nice balance between woodland and more open holes. Afterwards, enjoy a drink on the clubhouse terrace.

BIARRITZ LE PHARE
OPENED: 1888
DESIGNERS: TOM & WILLIE DUNN
COURSES: 5,942, PAR 69
Located at the heart of the town, in a renowned environment, Biarritz Le Phare’s 18-hole course was laid out by the Dunns then tweaked by master designer Harry Colt in 1920. It is testimony to golf’s history in France and of the sporting tradition of the Basque Country. It is blended beautifully within its surroundings and has never been as wellmanicured or as popular over its 130 years than it is today.

MAKI LA GOLF CLUB
OPENED: 1993
DESIGNER: ROCKY ROQUEMORE
COURSE: 6,793 YARDS, PAR 72
Located at the edge of Bayonne, lined with beautiful age-old oaks, this huge site allowed its American designer to lay out wide fairways and keep holes well apart. It plays nearly 6,800 yards from the back tees, so is a good test for the better player but the middle tees are perfect for the mid-handicapper.

SEIGNOSSE
OPENED: 1989
DESIGNER: ROBERT VON HAGGE
COURSE: 6,741 YARDS, PAR 72
Rated the 38th best course in Europe in Golf World’s European Top 100 last year, Seignosse is a famous modern masterpiece. Threading its way through fine trees and cork oaks, over undulating terrain and daunting water hazards, the layout takes you through magnifi cent virgin woodland. From the adjoining hotel, there are views over the course and Atlantic.
