Mile End Golf Club

What we say

Since opening in 1996 the Mile End Golf Club has developed rapidly into an extremely popular course for golfers across the county and further. The full length par 71 18-hole golf course covers over 135 acres and includes numerous water features, a challenging bit of fun, but also attractive to look at. The facilities are regularly enjoyed by golfers of all abilities who also make full use of the modern clubhouse, with bar and restaurant service. A floodlit driving range, putting green and other practice facilities are available. We are also home to a well-stocked golf shop.

  • 3 out of 5 Watch the Price....

    By diafolwrecsam

Played this at the weekend expecting to pay £29 (not £26 as quoted on this website) for me and a friend with a 2 fore 1 voucher. When we arrived we were told (very sheepishly) that the 2 fore 1 appalied to the day rate which was £43!!! still not bad for the two of us to play to be honest but the fact i was not told this when i phoned up the day before to book, nor does it mention it on this website was very annoying... that said we tee'd off at 3pm an had the course to ourselves which was brrilliant, nice course greens were very good all in all a good day apart from the inital price shock!!! at least i know for next time...

  • 5 out of 5 Fabulous!!

Great Welcome at this friendly Club.. Course in superb condition... Great value food in clubhouse afterwards where everyone was really friendly (unlike some clubs i have been to!).. On 2-Fore-1 voucher this is great value. Can't say i agree with comments above about it being "pricey".. £25 for TWO people midweek - can't say much fairer than that!!!

  • 2.5 out of 5 Not Bad

    By Nathan Lea

I have played here a few times and the Course is very nice, very open and a little water with good greens and fairways, however the price for the region is a little over the top. As a non member there seems to be more "Competitions" than you would find at any other club, especially during the week. Its difficult to feel welcome.

  • 1 out of 5 not the best

    By progolfer2

not the best of courses. poor inconsistant greens. silly placed bunkers. rough length tees.

  • 3.5 out of 5 seasonal course

the course is well kept in the summer with lush fairways and good tees. howeveer with it being built on old farmland the ground becomes soggy under foot in the winter i almost lost a shoe in the rough last time i played.the par 3s are the best here with cleverly placed water and bunkers. stay away in the winter but a good course in mid summer.
