What we say...
A brilliant golf ball for ladies looking to maximize distance off the tee
TaylorMade manufactured the Kalea golf balls with ladies at the forefront of their minds during the design process. This has led them to produce a fantastic golf ball for female golfers of all abilities.
Kalea golf balls are an outstanding option for golfers who are looking to gain distance off the tee. In order to create a golf ball for ladies which will maximize long game distance the compression has to be fairly high for a ladies’ golf ball (60) – this means the ball won’t suit every female golfer (mainly those with slow swing speeds).
Despite the Kalea being aimed at increasing power and distance, this ball does perform admirably when approaching greens and in the short game. By delivering a soft feel it’s difficult to tell this is a distance golf ball aimed at ladies.
High energy REACT core
Designed to maximize distance while still providing a soft feel, the high energy REACT core retains energy passed through the golf ball in order to perform well.
Low drag aerodynamics
the 342 dimple pattern of the Kalea helps to create low drag aerodynamics, ensuring the ball travels as well as possible.
TaylorMade Kalea availability
The Kalea golf balls are available in white, matte peach, and matte purple – the matte colors help with visibility and the colors were specifically chosen for their aesthetics. The balls are numbered slightly differently than expected, from 0 to 3.
The balls are available to purchase from a number of retailers at an RRP of £24.99/$24.99; a fair price for one of the best ladies’ golf balls (especially for maximizing distance).
