Hi Tec Golf Shoes User Reviews

  • 3 out of 5 Nice but flawed

    By Graham Shipman

Good looking shoes and excellent for a summer round of golf but they really fall down in the rain or if the course is wet. Expect wet feet with these!

  • 2 out of 5 Light but leaky

See previous review above.  Unfortunately the second pair left my feet soaking only a few weeks after I got them.  They are being returned for a refund.

These shoes are very natty!  Coming in many different colours you can find a pair to match your taste (as long as you don't like to be too boring).  I have a pair of White/Orange and another White/Red and think they are both great lookers.  They are very light in weight as the name suggests but really do provide the support and grip that you need in a golf shoe.  I found the sizing a little tight, so took a half size bigger than usual and still can't wear thick socks with them.  My first pair did leak after one particularly bad day on the course (after about 10 months) but I had them replaced without a quibble (hence me having two pairs).  As the laced part of the shoe is supported by a metal mesh (check out the pictures - very neat) the shoe forms to the shape of your foot very nicely and they are incredibly comfortable to wear.  I've never had a blister or been in too much of a hurry to get them off at the end of a round.  You can find them on eBay at very reasonable prices but do go for at least half a size bigger than usual or try them on in the pro shop first!
