Lottie Woad turned professional following a T3 finish at the 2025 Amundi Evian Championship. Playing in her first event as a professional, Woad won the 2025 ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, joining Beverly Hanson and Rose Zhang as the only female golfers to win on their professional debut.
The English rising star had already tasted victory on the Ladies European Tour, as an amateur, by winning the KPMG Women’s Irish Open at the beginning of July 2025.
Woad had a very impressive amateur career that took her all the way to the top of the World Amateur Golf Rankings in June 2024. During her stellar amateur career, the English golfer won the 2022 Girls Amateur Championship and 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
As a Seminole, Woad was ACC WGCA Freshman of the Year in 2023, and as a junior, FSU Female Athlete of the Year and ACC Golfer of the Year in 2024.
In May 2024, she finished runner-up to Adéla Cernousek in the individual competition at the NCAA Division I women’s golf championship. In August 2024, Woad became the first English woman to be awarded the Mark H. McCormack Medal.
