Ping Anser Hybrid

In addition to the new Anser driver and fairway wood, Ping have also launched a hybrid to the line.
The hybrids feature progressive centre of gravity locations in the lower-lofted clubs, so golfers can expect a higher trajectory, but with the higher-lofted hybrids the centre of gravity is positioned further forward to optimise launch conditions.
In the past, Ping’s hybrids haven’t always gone down too well when it comes to aesthetics – but the more traditionally-shaped head is certainly confidence-inspiring at address.
The bottom portion of the clubface is also wider in the heel and toe which delivers greater forgiveness and optimal spin.
We caught up with Ping’s Senior Design Engineer Marty Jertson and he told us in greater detail what the product was all about. You can see what he had to see in the video below.
