We continue our 2-FORE!-1 golfing tour of Britain by checking out the 2-FORE!-1 GOLF highlights in and around the city of Leicester.
The East Midlands city boasts a number of cracking parkland tracks but arguably none better than the classy venue of Stapleford Park which has impressively matured after opening nearly a decade ago.
Stapleford Park is literally down the road from Melton Mowbray GC which has been around considerably longer (1925) and guarantees an enjoyable round of parkland golf.
Hinckley, just outside the city, provides a good par-71 test too and the other must-plays in the area include the excellent Cosby and Scraptoft while big hitters will love Park Hill – the par-73 course covers a marathon 7,200 yards off the back tips!
