There’s plenty of cracking golf to be played and enjoyed in around the Geordie capital, including many 2-FORE!-GOLF venues.
One of the best is the star-studded De Vere Slaley Hall Resort, home of the excellent Hunting and Priestman layouts.
Nearby you’ll find the mature parkland course of Hexham while there are a number of other superb stay and play venues such as Matfen Hall, Linden Hall and Longhirst Hall.
But if its a stern test of seaside golf you’re after this winter then head for the spectacular links of Seahouses where you’re guaranteed good playing conditions… though obviously we can’t guarantee the weather!
