Open Days planned for Heythrop Park

Heythrop Park, England’s newest golf resort located 30 minutes north west of Oxford near Chipping Norton is launching two exclusive “Membership Open Days” on Saturday 12th December 2009 and Wednesday 16th December.
Golfers throughout the region are invited to register promptly for either date and play the Championship Bainbridge Course for the very first time. The day includes breakfast on arrival, 18 holes, (shotgun start) use of the Health and Fitness Club followed by prize giving for just £50 per person. Simply call: 01608 673 488.
In addition, golfers will have the opportunity to take part in the Heythrop Challenge, simply drive the green on the 6th hole (277 yards) and your joining fee will be waived.
Players signing up for golf membership on the day will also receive three months free Health Club Membership worth £240 and have their £50 entrance fee refunded.
The 18-hole 7,100 yard Bainbridge Course opened last month and is already attracting great reviews and comments from golfers throughout Oxfordshire.
This Par 72 course situated in 440 acres of rich parkland was designed by Tom MacKenzie who has more than 20 years experience creating golf courses world-wide.
Heythrop Park Resort will have a maximum of 400 members and will also be open for green fees and corporate golf days with the opportunity to book tee times on line through Heythrop’s website www.heythropparkresort.com
The contemporary clubhouse and Health and Fitness Club is now fully open and offers a stylish bar and restaurant for members and visiting golfers alike and a Pro-Shop featuring the Greg Norman Clothing Collection and Heythrop branded merchandise.
Heythrop Park Resort will offer top-class facilities: 17 luxury guest rooms in the main house and a further 136 guest rooms in adjoining wings.
An additional 197 guest rooms will open including six luxury suites, a theatre, ballroom, 11 meeting rooms, two bars and a restaurant when the new Crowne Plaza opens on site in October 2010.
