Inland beauties in world top 100 courses

Only three UK inland courses featured in sister magazine Golf World’s new Top 100 Courses of the World poll.

The highest placed was the English Golf Union’s pride and joy – the superb Hotchkin track at Woodhall Spa in rural Lincolnshire.

Wonderful Woodhall in fact was the lone UK inland course to secure a top 20 placing although both Loch Lomond and Sunningdale’s classy Old Course both finished in the overall top 30.
