Links rules in world’s top 100 courses
Last updated:
This week’s US Open venue – Pebble Beach in California – predictably fared well in Golf World magazine’s World Top 100 Courses poll.
The breathtaking American links layout is widely regarded by many golfers as the finest course on Planet Golf though it had to settle for eighth place in GW’s Top 100 listing.
Actually links courses dominated the poll and in fact provided six of the leading ten courses with the sensational Cypress Point, also in California, being the highest placed – it finished just ahead of Turnberry’s magical Ailsa course.
