2-FORE!-1 Six of the Best

Another classy crop of 2-FORE!-1 courses, ranging from a Devonian delight to a shining north east Scotland star, you can experience and enjoy for seriously discounted green fees – thanks to 2-FORE!-1.
*Ilfracombe, Devon – Short but challenging seaside layout owing to the potentially lethal combination of the prevailing south westerly winds and undulating terrain. A true Devon delight and only available to play in 2-FORE!-1 in low season (winter only). And the good news is that it’s playable and in good condition year-round.
*KP Club, East Yorks (pictured) – This venue will drive you nuts – but in a good, positive way. KP’s modern layout is on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Wolds and has gone from strength to strength since opening in 1994.
*Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire – A magical mix of woodland and heathland holes. It’s not the longest layout (two par-4s are under 255 yards) but most fairways are densely tree-lined so you’ve got to keep it arrow straight.
*Carlisle – Cumbria’s parkland pride is located virtually a thumping drive from the M6, but you’d never know – the attractive gently undulating course is majestically lined by an assortment of mature trees.
*Ballater, Aberdeenshire – Guarantees a memorable round and golfing experience in beautiful Upper Deeside, Ballater is a gently rolling heathland track with several holes close to the River Dee.
*Mill Hill, London (pictured) – Created by legendary architect J.K. Abercrombie and a well established parkland layout with narrow fairways and mature trees, placing the emphasis firmly on accuracy rather than length.
