New ‘links’ golf course to open in West London

Yes, you read that right. An 18-hole links course. In London. And with a pay-and-play policy that makes it perfect for commuters across the capital.

The multi-million-pound facility, known as London Airlinks, is set to open on May 15 and is located on the former site of Heston Aerodrome, a few hundred yards from junction three on the M4.

The 5,314-yard design takes inspiration from Scotland’s best links golf courses and plays to a par 68 over dramatic dunes and water features, with views of London’s iconic landmark in the backdrop. It costs as little as £20 per person to play, plus there’s a 25-bay Toptracer driving range on the site!

London Airlinks is a new pay and play course, located just off junction three on the M4.

“After eight years in the making, we’re incredibly excited to be opening London Airlinks Golf Course and bringing the drama of links golf to the city, making it a must-visit golfing destination, says Jon Dummett, Head of Golf at Glendale Golf.

“Links courses can be notoriously tough to play, but with London Airlinks we’ve ensured the course design is suitable for golfers of all abilities, and we can’t wait to welcome newcomers, novices and golf enthusiasts of all levels to the new course and premium Toptracer® Range next month.”

The Glendale Golf facility will be open to all customers, including newcomers and novices, every day, including bank holidays. You can also take advantage of an introductory offer, which lets you play unlimited golf for a month on the brand-new links for just £80.
