Clark’s mixed bag helps him to victory

Tim Clark’s victory at the Players Championship was certainly a surprise to many, and another surprise comes in the form of his bag make-up.
The South African, who won by a single stroke from Australian Robert Allenby, used equipment from Srixon, Cleveland, TaylorMade, Callaway and Odyssey on route to victory at Sawgrass.
The 34-year-old relied on TaylorMade’s gorgeous R9 SuperTri driver, Burner 3-wood and a TaylorMade Rescue club, and also used Srixon’s Z-Star ball and Srixon’s I-404 irons.
He opted for Callaway’s Steelhead 5-wood and an Odyssey 2-ball Long, while Cleveland’s lovely CG14 wedges did the job around the greens.
It was Clark’s first victory in the US in what is a staggering 205 career starts.
