Quiros RAZR sharp in the desert

Alvaro Quiros recently switched to Callaway’s new RAZR Hawk driver and his results have been sensational, culminating in a win at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.

The powerful Spaniard held his nerve to close out the win with a one-shot victory over Dane Anders Hansen and South African James Kingston as he carded a final round 68 to record a four-round total of 11-under-par.

Quiros, well-known for his long driving, has actually increased his average distance off the tee by an impressive 12-yards on his 2010 statistic. Since the switch to the new product he has finished 23rd, 8th, 2nd and now 1st in tournament events.

In addition to the RAZR Hawk driver, Qurios also used two X-Fairway woods, X-Prototype irons, X-Forged Vintage wedges and an Odyssey Black Series i#1 putter. He also used Callaway’s new iZ Tour ball on his way to victory.
