Mizuno MP-63 irons: 2011 irons test review video

What Luke Donald doesn’t know about good iron play generally isn’t worth knowing so if you’re in the market for a new set of player’s irons it would be worth taking a look at the Mizuno MP-63 irons, which the Englishman helped design.

The MP-63 irons are the follow up to Mizuno’s legendary MP-62s which have propelled Donald to No1 in the world and he worked with Mizuno’s R&D team to create a new set that exactly matched what he was looking for in an iron.

They feature Mizuno’s diamond muscle technology and harmonic impact technology – both of which are essentially designed to provide better feel and feedback from the strike while the leading and trailing edge of the sole have been beveled to make it play narrower.

Watch the video below with TG’s gear team Jonathan Greathead and David Connor to find out more about the Mizuno MP-63 iron and how it performed on test.
