SkyCaddie to offer free membership on SGXW GPS unit in March and April

GPS giant SkyCaddie are offering golfers who buy their new SGXW model a free membership, providing they purchase the model in March or April 2012.

The Birdie membership, which usually retails at £29.95, gives golfers unlimited 12 month access to SkyCaddie’s advanced UK course maps, as well as year-long access to basic green information for SkyCaddie’s 30,000-strong course database.

The SGXW, which launched at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando this year, holds up to 50 course maps at any one time and golfers can download these quickly and easily by utilising the new wireless capability on the unit.
