When it comes to an impending Ryder Cup, just like the Fujikura VENTUS shafts, there can be no mistaking the feeling.

America are determined to fight back with the return of the tournament to US soil. Europe, feeling boisterous after one of their strongest ever performances two years ago in Rome, are looking to win away for the first time since their Miracle at Medinah in 2012.

Whichever team you’re supporting, being able to show your colors has always been a keen source of pride for fans, and now there’s a more unique way of backing your side, thanks to Fujikura Golf.

Fujikura have released their limited edition Ventus Rivals shaft series in Team Europe and Team USA colors

VENTUS Rivals Collection

Fujikura have today announced the release of their limited edition VENTUS VeloCore+ Rivals shaft series, giving supporters of both sides of ‘The Battle at Bethpage‘ a chance to show their colors while also benefiting in their own game.

“This was a unique opportunity for us to combine the fierce passion golf fans have for this historic competition with their unwavering allegiance, which helps make this great contest what it is,” says Eric Recher, Director of Marketing at Fujikura.

“The Rivals Collection are performance shafts with a difference: they feature the same technology that has seen VENTUS set the standard in driver and wood shaft performance in recent years, while also giving golfers a chance to show who they are backing for glory at Bethpage. Now they can show their national pride with every single swing as they back their guys towards victory in New York.”

The limited-edition Rivals series will be available in two different finishes. Firstly, the ol’ red, white, and blue for that All-American feel, which will be available in VENTUS Blue 60g Stiff and X-Stiff or VENTUS Black 60 Stiff and X-Stiff.

Secondly, you’ll have the sophisticated combination of blue and yellow for those who prefer the east side of the Atlantic, and it will be available in VENTUS Blue 60g Stiff and X-Stiff.

Both shafts are purchasable through your authorized Fujikura Chartered Dealers around the world and are on sale from September 2nd, 2025.

VeloCore+ Technology

And if we’re talking about having a competitive edge, there might not be a more appropriate company in the game than Fujikura and their VENTUS VeloCore+ technology.

We’ve recently taken a deeper dive into the historic year and key major moments that the shaft has been involved in already this year, but it’s worth reiterating how impressive the design has been. VENTUS dominated on both the PGA and DP World Tours, as it has for several years now, but with VENTUS featuring in the bags of every Major champion in 2025, the shaft and company have solidified their place in equipment history.

VeloCore+, which can also be found in Fujikura’s Axiom graphite iron shaft, is the next evolution of the original VeloCore that debuted way back in at the Safeway Open in 2018.

The design is based around an ultra-stable, ultra-stiff tip section that helps boost driver MOI (Moment of Inertia) without impacting the CG (Center of Gravity).

In simpler terms, it makes the club more forgiving on mishits by increasing the resistance to twisting (that’s what MOI measures), so you can either further boost an already forgiving head, like TaylorMade’s Qi35 Max, or you can give a performance bump to a less forgiving, more distance-oriented head, like Titleist’s GT3.

We’ve tested the Black, Blue, and Red models against each other to help you understand which will work for you, as well as covered the launch of the all-new VENTUS White that debuted in 2025, aimed at benefiting slower swing speeds.

And with this line-up, along with the VENTUS TR series, Fujikura’s position has never looked stronger, and your golf game has never been more complete.
