We spotted them on tour a while back, and now Odyssey have officially launched their Ai-One Square 2 Square Max putters…
Odyssey have released two new zero-torque putters: the Odyssey Ai-One Square 2 Square Max 1 and the Ai-One Square 2 Square Max Stripe.
Both models were spotted on Tour at the Players Championship, where they drew a lot of attention.
It’s difficult not to compare the new Odyssey Ai-One Square 2 Square Max putters to the L.A.B. Golf DF3 because of how much they are alike, but there aren’t many other parallels away from their appearances.
Odyssey sure know how to build a quality zero-torque putter – the Ai-One Square 2 Square Jailbird is the best zero-torque putter of 2025. The original Ai-One Square 2 Square range launched in 2024, and with the addition of the two new models – the Max 1 and Max Stripe – does Odyssey now have the best line-up of zero-torque putters? Better than the best L.A.B. Golf putters? I’ll let you answer those questions…
Solely looking at the Ai-One Square 2 Square Max 1 and Max Stripe putters, I can easily see both models challenging the best putters of 2025 because of their appearance, technology, and performance. Odyssey aren’t the only brand bolstering their zero-torque putter offerings, PXG have added the Bat Attack ZT putter to their line-up. All eyes are now on TaylorMade to see when they launch the Spider 5K-ZT, spotted on Tour at the Arnold Palmer. The zero-torque market is certainly heating up!
