With rangefinder options now being one of the strongest categories in golf, Precision Pro Golf are giving you a reason to look past the competition, with their outstanding range of Next Gen products

When your whole job is to review the latest and greatest in GPS and Laser Rangefinder technology, it’s hard to find a product, let alone a whole brand, that surprises me when it comes into the office. Precision Pro Golf, however, have found a way to break the mold in a very different way than I expected.
As a newer brand to the market, there needs to be a good reason (or two, or three) to help take your eyes away from the bigger brands. With the family of rangefinders on offer, the company is able to cater to a wide variety of needs, both obvious and more interesting, for the modern golfer. And ‘Modern’ is absolutely the most apt word to use here.
Precision Pro wants you to know they understand what makes a brand modern. Whether that comes from the product itself, like being able to individualize your equipment and stand out from the crowd, or from a high-quality customer service and support network that also treats you like you’re you, not just another faceless name.

We’ll get into the new tech that Precision Pro is offering in their latest generation of laser rangefinders in a moment, but, without laboring the point, seeing what the company provides pre- and post-purchase is one of the best things I’ve encountered from any golf brand in today’s game.
To start, when you place your order for your chosen rangefinder, you’ll begin a 90-Day Money Back Guarantee period – so if you don’t love it, you won’t have to worry! This is also backed up by Precision Pro’s 3-Year Warranty, a seriously impressive guarantee considering most brands offer a single year, or two at best.
My favorite part of the customer service, though, is the Trade In option. If you’re ever looking to upgrade your Precision Pro, the company offers a 30% discount for anyone who already owns one of their products.
The catch? You don’t even need to send back your old device. The brand will honor the discount, while also letting you keep the previous edition you own; they encourage you to give it to a friend or playing partner!
I’ve certainly been sold on the company image, but to be successful, the product needs to live up to the same quality…

The NX10 Laser Rangefinder
There are several great options in Precision Pro’s arsenal but, having teased it early, I think it’s best to start with the model that offers the most for personalization, giving you the best way to express more about your golf game, or personality in general.
The NX10 Laser comes in a Black on Cool White finish as a stock configuration, and it looks great as it comes standard, with the more premium material construction providing good feel and balanced weight. The ABS plastic used is a high-quality thermoplastic, which has great impact resistance properties, meaning you don’t need to worry about being delicate during your round.
Setting it apart, however, are the available custom Skins. There are 21 in total, offering replacements for interchangeable plates on the base and front of the NX10. My two favorites are the John Daly Overswing (because who doesn’t love Big John) and the over-the-top, yet incredible, Mullet Eagle with USA aviators! Having the choice of a personal style (or CHOICES if you take Precision Pro up on their multi-buy offers) that’s so easy to access gives you that option of really defining this laser rangefinder as your own, as well as stopping anyone from accidentally mistaking theirs for yours.

Aside from the fun selection of Skins, the NX10 laser stands up on its own two feet as a quality rangefinder. It’s good to go straight out of the box, with a simple twin-button design. Similar to other designs on the market, you have a targeting button, used to activate the laser and display, as well as a switch that moves the laser’s Adaptive Slope Mode between ON and OFF for tournament-legal compliance.
While the laser itself is formidably fast in acquiring the flag (or anything you want to point it at, frankly), the area I’m most impressed by is the balance of the NX10. It might seem like a small thing, but when testing plastic rangefinders I’ve often found them too lightweight to be stable when trying to focus on longer targets, especially in the wind.
If you’re looking for simplicity in function but more than that in form, the NX10 is the perfect laser rangefinder for you!

The Titan Slope Laser Rangefinder
Precision Pro’s next step up from the NX10 is their Titan Slope model. The Titan earns its name from an ultra-cool, ultra-premium aluminum body, making this one of the drop-proof rangefinders on the market – Precision even refer to the material as ‘unbreakable’ in their marketing, testament to their own belief in the quality.
The metal construction, besides offering the protection mentioned, comes in two killer finishes. The Midnight scheme, which we tested, is a striking color, coating the normally chrome aluminum in a darker style, almost blending into the black accents of the magnetic plates fitted to the rest of the laser. It looks every bit the premium product it is in this stealthy, sleek product, although, if you want to express yourself with a little more flair, Precision Pro have also produced the Titan Slope in a run of Gold Limited Edition models that will certainly turn heads at any golf club.
The second area that the Titan sets itself apart from the NX10 is the battery. In both Precision’s other models, you’ll find a replaceable CR2 battery provided by the company. The Titan Slope laser, however, is installed with a rechargeable lithium battery within its casing.

Included in the box is a USB-C cord that can fit into a small concealed gap underneath the viewfinder for charging. Don’t worry about having to constantly be plugging the Titan Slope into the mains after each round, though. Once you’ve given it a first full charge, you’ll be able to work through well over 40 rounds of golf before you ever need to go in for a refill!
While we’re in the vicinity of the viewfinder, something that should be said for the entire lineup of Precision Pro rangefinders is the comfort that they’ve built into the eyepiece. The lens is easy to set for your focal point, but what I love is that I can take my time to line up with the correct target without pushing the focus into my eye and causing irritation from rough or sharper designs.
If you’re looking for a sturdy, robust feel with easy-to-use, ultra-clear displays and low-maintenance battery life, the Titan Slope is what you’re missing in your game!

The Titan Elite Laser Rangefinder
If our previous entries have whetted your appetite for Precision Pro’s all-star line-up, then the final model is really going to make your mouth water.
The Titan Elite laser rangefinder is the ultimate combination of functionality that a modern golfer could want in their distance-measuring device. Constructed from the same aluminum body material as the Slope, the Elite carries over that weightier, more stable feeling that makes it perfect for resisting wind when trying to lock in to distance targets – especially as the Elite, and the other lasers in the family, can find a flagstick from up to 300 yards away!
What makes Elite the king of the series, though, is the smart feature connectivity incorporated into the rangefinder model.
By downloading Precision’s free app, you can wirelessly connect your Titan Elite to your smartphone, which gives you access to two different functions, the first being the App itself. Offering up over 35,000 courses, the Precision Pro App acts like a GPS for your own course needs, as well as providing smart distances on all your clubs by letting you add and select the equipment you’re using from shot to shot.

Precision are always updating their course models and adding new ones to expand how many they can give their golfers access to; however, if you spot a change that isn’t shown in their scans, you can also get in touch with them directly, and they’ll add it to their update schedule.
In addition to this, you can use the App to locate a lost rangefinder, should you misplace it during your round or accidentally leave it at the course after playing.
From the rangefinder side is where the tech gets really impressive, though. An additional button along the top of the unit, between the activation toggle and the Slope On/Off switch, switches you into a connected mode that syncs back to your smartphone and the App.
This version of the heads-up display in the viewfinder shows you the distance to the pin, while also providing a super-clean display of the green’s front and back yardages alongside your target. The all-in-one package is incredibly convenient, no longer needing you to go fiddling in your pockets to have everything you need to make smart decisions on the golf course. When you consider this comes with the precise accuracy of a laser at the same time, it’s really hard to look past the Titan Elite.
Combined with the lightning-fast target acquisition, durable materials, great balance, and outstanding customer support (oh yeah, and the IP67 Rating means the Precision Pro Titan models are Dust and Water Proof), I’m really struggling for reasons not to recommend the Elite to every golfer I know.
At least, every golfer who doesn’t want to get left behind!
