This tour only Titleist ball is being released to the public – here’s where you can buy it

The Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot has been a stalwart model for tour professionals over the last decade, and now you can finally purchase the performance for yourself.
When it comes to dominance at every level of the game, there aren’t many products that can hold up to the prowess of the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. What you may not know, however, is that Tour professionals have access to a select group of Custom Performance Options (CPOs) models built around specific characteristics. The Pro V1 Left Dot has been at the forefront of these prototypes, helping in key moments for some of the best players in the world.
While the public has been given access to certain CPOs before, namely with the recently updated ProV1 Left Dash – a golf ball that was one of the longest balls we robot tested in 2025, the Left Dot has remained something of a privileged model when it comes to release.
Titleist deem a lot of their CPOs to be custom for the regular golfer’s requirements, considering the market-ready Pro V1 and Pro V1x (as well as the Left Dash) to be able to withstand the demands of the majority of amateurs.
Due to the Pro V1 Left Dot’s high interest from a niche in the golfing community, the company believes it’s in their best interests to bring it back to the market with a limited run that will help quell the demands of those of us who drool at the mouth at the thought of getting hold of anything labelled ‘Tour Only.’

So what are you getting if you take Titleist up on their offer, and why do 6% of tour Pro V1 users pick the model?
“I’ve always put a lot of spin on the golf ball,” said six-time PGA Tour Winner, Tony Finau. “Right away, [Pro V1 Left Dot] caught my eye because of the ball flight.
“I think if you can control your ball flight, you can control the distance. And it’s been such a reliable ball flight for me from the first time that I hit it… I can count on the golf ball in crosswinds, into the wind, downwind. I know how far the golf ball is going to go.”
The Left Dot, as Finau describes, is a perfect ball for players looking to control flight and spin in their game.
According to Titleist, it has a lower flight than the core Pro V1 model, along with lower spin on full swings. For those worried this could come with a greenside cost, you’ll still see the similar signature soft feel and Drop-and-Stop control that you’d expect from the regular Pro V1.
Left Dot has tasted victory in multiple majors and 30 tour events down the years, including the 2016 Open Championship and 2018 Masters, proving it’s a worthy addition to the No.1 ball in golf’s already stellar family.
Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot will be available through Titleist.com and select online retailers (US and Canada only) beginning Tuesday, September 23, and is limited to two dozen per customer. Left Dot will be priced at $55.
