Under Armour pay tribute to Bethpage with ‘Warning Golf Collection’ ahead of USA’s clash with Europe

The ‘Battle at Bethpage’ is just weeks away and Under Armour are marking the biennial clash at one of the world’s most brutal courses with a special clothing collection.
With Luke Donald completing Europe’s line-up with his six picks just a matter of days after Keegan Bradley had confirmed his USA roster, the countdown is truly on for golf’s most incredible showdown with the ‘Battle of Bethpage’ getting underway in New York at the end of this month.
Hosts Team USA will look to bounce back and reclaim the famous cup after suffering a heavy defeat to Europe in Rome two years ago. The visitors will face a partisan crowd in the sports-crazed city of New York as they aim for the event’s first away victory in 13 years.
More than 225,000 golf fans are expected to converge in Bethpage, creating an electric atmosphere, and now Under Armour have created a special collection in tribute to the famous course.
The new ‘Warning Golf Collection’ has been designed in recognition of Bethpage Black – one of the most testing layouts in the game.
Situated in Long Island and in close proximity to New York City, Bethpage has become an iconic setting for golf with a total of five courses making up one of America’s most famous municipal clubs. At the heart of the venue lies Bethpage’s premier layout, which has hosted numerous top-level tournaments, as well as three Major Championships.
The course stretches to well over 7,400 yards, and is defined by pinched-tight fairways that are lined with penal rough, while several plateaued greens – protected by some of the deepest sand traps players will encounter – serve to punish any wayward play from the fairways. Indeed, the Bethpage course is so challenging it has its own ‘Warning Sign’ at the first tee, throwing caution to those who dare take on the challenge.
Key pieces in the line-up include the Playoff Warning Polo, available in Midnight Navy and White/Gray, alongside the UA Icon Warning Hoodie in Midnight Navy and Royal Blue.
The collection also features the versatile Drive Pro Hybrid midlayer, available in both Royal Blue and Midnight Navy. The accessories are headlined by the Drive 5 Panel Cap in Midnight Navy.
