Celtic Manor – Hole 10

210 YARDS, PAR 3

Jim McKenzie says: On the tee golfers will have to work out whether the downhill will cancel out the wind, which will usually be in their faces. It could be anything from a 4 to 7-iron into a huge, sloping green surrounded by redeveloped bunkers. This hole already has some Ryder Cup history; in 2001 Paul McGinley won the rain-shortened Wales Open in a play-off, to make the team – and went on to hole the winning putt.
