Jim McKenzie says: The Usk runs down the left and is OB, but it’s a huge hook to find it. The players will look to thread the tee shot up the right, carrying the shorter right-hand fairway bunker, to leave themselves 150 yards or so to a slightly perched green with a tiny back left shelf that makes for a wicked pin position. Monty wanted a little swale added on the right to help blend this older hole with the newer style.
