Hole 4 – Flowering Crab Apple

PAR 3 – 240 YARDS

Seve used to hit a 5 or 4-iron here, but the hole is longer now and they’re hitting small woods sometimes.

It’s a very severe green with a big ridge. It’s hard to stop the ball on the correct tier. It’s very fast from the right to the left and it never breaks as much as you think to the back left pin.

The Quiros way: This can be anything from a 4 to a 6-iron for me, again aiming straight at the pin with whichever club I choose to hit.
Targetscore: 3

The Wilson way: It’s all about hitting the middle of the green. I’ll be looking to hit a 3-iron or even a hybrid club if they put the tees right back… though they often push them forward. The aim is to just carry the front left bunker which still leaves you a tricky two-putt. Targetscore: 3
