Thomas Aiken just made literally the perfect start at the OHL Classic
Published:
With first tee nerves to contend with, we’re normally happy to walk off with par in the first hole of a golf tournament. Thomas Aiken went two massive strides better, notching a hole-in-one on his first hole of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba.
Starting on the tenth, the longest par 3 on the El Camaleon course in Mexixo, Aiken tamed the 200-yarder in the best way possible, knocking it straight into the hole.
Aiken then followed it with two birdies, to be four-under through three holes.
As we told you yesterday, the seventh at El Camaleon has one of the toughest bunkers in golf, so Aiken will want to avoid the sand if he’s to keep this fantastic round going.
