If you’ve always dreamed of turning your hobby into your job, this role with is ideal.

We are adding another knowledgeable and dependable digital writer to our ever-expanding team to report on, test and review all things golf equipment.

You’ll need to know everything from why 10k drivers are all the rage in 2024 and what a golfer is looking for in the latest shoes or GPS watch, to why the right shaft is so important for your game and what balls the world’s leading pros are putting in play this season.

You’ll join a team of passionate fellow golf journalists whose aim is to make golfers everywhere play better with the help of our buying guides, reviews, features and videos.

You could be helping Equipment Editor Simon Daddow with our next robot golf balls test.

The ideal person

The ideal candidate will live and breathe golf, have excellent writing skills, and have a good knowledge and understanding of digital journalism, including SEO, affiliates, and how analytics drives content.

You’ll also be comfortable interviewing some of the world’s leading equipment gurus, talking to players about their equipment, testing everything from the latest irons and stand bags to trolleys and training aids, liaising with brands to secure access to the newest releases, managing freelance reviewers, and appearing in videos on our website and social media channels.

As well as our website, which reaches millions of players and fans across the globe, your work will appear in Today’s Golfer – the UK’s No.1 golf magazine! We pride ourselves on being a trusted source for golfers wanting in-depth, in-hand, honest and data-driven reviews of all the products on the market to ensure they’re getting the right products for their game and budget.

The successful candidate will get the opportunity to attend launches and events and manage some of our key equipment categories.

Hybrid working

We are based in Peterborough but many of our team work on a hybrid basis and we’d be more than happy to offer the same if you’re the right person, so don’t let living in Dundee or Devon put you off.
