Tommy Fleetwood sets new challenge to break 100 (don’t worry – there’s a catch!)

Forget Break 50 – Tommy Fleetwood wants to just get into double digits. Allow us to explain…
We know what you’re thinking. Tommy Fleetwood? Trying to break 100?
As in the Tommy Fleetwood who broke the Carnoustie course record during the 2017 Dunhill Links Championship? Or the Tommy Fleetwood who shot a final-round 63 in the US Open a few months later to tie what was, at the time, the lowest anyone had been in a major? Or the Tommy Fleetwood… well, you get my point.
The popular Englishman has almost certainly broken 100 every single time he’s teed up. We can’t imagine him even as a youngster growing up in England’s North West having to scratch more than two numbers into the ‘total score’ box on his card.
So what on earth is he on about when he says in his latest YouTube teaser clip that he’s planning a series to break 100? (Fair play if you’ve got this far, by the way.)
Fleetwood, of course, is going to take on the challenge left-handed.
The southpaw from Southport, if you will.
In the clip, he hits a couple of duffs before it seemingly getting the hang of it.
Now it’s just a matter of putting it to the test on the golf course.
Fleetwood joined the tour golfer YouTube revolution in June and has so far amassed around half a million views from his four videos to date.
Can he do it? Well, you know where you can keep up to speed with his shenanigans.
In the meantime, here’s a shameless plug for TG‘s YouTube channel, which you should check out if you’re into gear and stuff.
