Here’s a rundown of the LIV golfers at The Open and why they are setting a small piece of league history at Royal Portrush…
There will be a record number of LIV golfers at The Open this year.
After three of LIV’s star names came through Open Final Qualifying earlier this month, and with 16 already exempt, it took the total number to 19 – a little north of 12% of the field and more than any other major since the league’s inauguration in 2022.
