The 2026 US Open will be held at Shinnecock Hills, in Southampton, New York. Originally designed by Willie Davis in 1891, and later redesigned by William Flynn in 1931, the course features a classic links-style layout with wide fairways, strategic bunkering, and notoriously challenging greens.
The venue has hosted five U.S. Opens (1896, 1986, 1995, 2004, 2018), along with the 1977 Walker Cup. Known for its tough conditions and historic significance, Shinnecock was also the first U.S. golf club to admit female members.
