US Open 2023: Tee times and pairings for Sunday’s fourth and final round of the US Open at Los Angeles Country Club, where Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark share the lead.
Today’s Golfer’s 2023 Major coverage is brought to you in association with TaylorMade.
Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark will head out in the last group for the final round at Los Angeles Country Club with the American pair tied at 10-under par in their hunt for a maiden Major title.
On a day where low scoring proved far more difficult than the opening two rounds, Fowler dug deep to post a level-par 70, with Clark going one shot better, although both players bogeyed the final hole to fall closer to the chasing pack.
Rory McIlroy, looking to end his nine-year Major drought, leads that pack at nine-under after a steady one-under 69, which included three birdies and two bogeys.
The Northern Irishman will play alongside World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, whose two-under-par round left him three shots off the lead at seven-under.
It’s a packed leaderboard with at least seven players in with a realistic chance of lifting the famous trophy, including Harris English (six-under), Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele. Schauffele will need to bounce back from a disappointing three-over 73 on Saturday.
Tom Kim produced the round of the day after an astonishing six-under-par (29) front nine. A birdie at the 10th left the South Korean on track to break the Major round scoring record, but LACC’s back nine proved tough all day, and Kim closed with three bogeys in his final eight holes.
Sunday’s third round gets underway at 11.23am (4.23pm UK time) with Ryo Ishikawa out first. The final pairing of Clark and Fowler is off at 5.30pm (10.30pm UK time).
