World number one Luke Donald is the most expensive player in Today’s Golfer Fantasy Golf, in association with Your Golf Travel, at $5.5m.
Managers have $15m to pick their six-man team each week, so player price hugely important and often forces managers to make some difficult decisions and look for good value from lower-priced players as well.
The rest of the most expensive players in the game are Rory McIlroy ($5.0m), Lee Westwood ($5.0m), Tiger Woods ($4.5m), Martin Kaymer ($4.0m), Steve Stricker ($3.8m), Phil Mickelson ($3.6m), Adam Scott ($3.4m) and Webb Simpson ($3.4m).
There are 429 golfers to choose from in the game, with some available for as little as $0.5m, and a few players always breakthrough and offer fantastic value for the price every year.
