2025 LIV Golf Chicago preview: Everything you need to know as the season run-in begins
Published:

LIV Golf Chicago kicks starts the first of three back-to-back events as the Saudi-backed tour reaches its business end.
LIV Golf Chicago shifts forward in the calendar this year after hosting the individual season finale last time around, which saw Jon Rahm crowned champion in his debut season.
The Spaniard edged out Joaquin Niemann 12 months ago with a 1-2-1 finish in his final three events, although he will need to rely on some misfortune from his Torque GC rival this time to avoid the Chilean getting his revenge when all is said and done at Indianapolis next week.
Niemann has already notched up five individual wins this season and enjoys a 37.64 point margin over Rahm in second, with DeChambeau sitting third, a further 32.92 points behind.
Despite his win here last year, however, Rahm’s Legion XIII franchise couldn’t quite get the job done at Bolingbrook Golf Club, falling one shot shy of the -14 score posted by Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers outfit.
Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know ahead of this year’s action at LIV Golf Chicago…
