Cameron Young is a winner on the PGA Tour from Scarborough, New York. Young’s debut victory on the PGA Tour was at the 2025 Wyndham Championship.

The American earned his PGA Tour card through the Korn Ferry Tour, where he finished 19th in the 2020-21 season. The following season, Young played his rookie year on the PGA Tour.

The peak of Young’s 2021-22 season was a solo second-place finish at the Open Championship. He also enjoyed four more runner-up finishes and two third-place finishes. At the end of the season, Young won the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year (Arnold Palmer Award) with 94 percent of the vote.

In 2014, Young won the AJGA Polo Golf Junior Classic and was selected to represent the United States in both the Junior Ryder Cup and Junior Golf World Cup.

Kyle Sterbinksy is Young’s current caddie. Sterbinsky began life as Young’s caddie at the 2025 Truist Championship.

The pair got off to a flying start with a T7 finish in their first event, and a pair of T4 finishes followed that at the RBC Canadian Open and the US Open, before the duo put all the pieces together to win the Wyndham Championship.

Sterbinksy and Young were college teammates at Wake Forest, and Young describes Sterbinksy as one of his best friends.
