This year, the PGA Tour has revamped its format, removing the widely criticised starting strokes system previously employed, which rewarded season performances with varying degrees of staggered start.

The field tees off from level par this time around, and had that been the case 12 months ago, Collin Morikawa would have been lifting the FedEx Cup trophy, having outscored champion Scottie Scheffler by two shots.
